A new roommate came to our host’s house that day.He wore dreadlocks and tattoo.
It’s typical Brazilian style! It’s first time in my life to see a person from South America.
So I was curious of him.
We went to Goreme museum which is located in the center of Cappadocia.
There was a scenery like big rock mountains spread out before us there.
When I heard about the museum at first, I imagined that it’s just a kind of building.
“Is it museum!?”I said to myself as soon as I saw it. It’s like caves! The impressive view aroused my adventurous spirits.
There were Rock hewn churches which were built by christians who fled the persecution and settled in Cappadocia.
Nowadays, it’s open air museum.
Anyway,I started exploring these cave-like museums one by another excitedly!
The fresco was drawn inside the church. The vividness and elaboration attracted my heart.
“How they ‘d lived inside the cave..” I imagined their life at that time.
After that, we started heading to the rose valley. Rose valley was pink valley of rocks and famous for the view of sunset.
It’s one of highlights in Cappadocia.
To tell the truth, I didn’t know both rose valley and the museum as I didn’t browse the information of Cappadocia so much. The only thing I knew about Cappadocia was the balloon riding and the view of strange-shaped rocks!
But I managed to get information and knew more about the place on the way.
While walking to the valley, we met French and Argentinean travelers and and we talked to them. They said that they were also looking for the valley.
We decided to explore together. The way to the valley was really adventurous ! We moved into a rough path and I fell down sometimes! It’s really hard to walk . But it’s exciting experience! We took a look into the caves, passing through tunnels on the way.
In the meanwhile, my host texted me and she said that as the other roommate would come to home, I ‘d better to go back.
So I parted with them midway and I started turning back.
Luckily, as I met a couple of Australian and Italian soon, I could walk back with them. Although it’s a little shame not go to the valley, the new adventure with them was also interesting! For me, even the view on the way to the destination was interesting! Because It’s Cappadocia.
After I went home, I met new roommate who was a Canadian girl.
I had a lunch with her and the couple I met on the way.
We were excitedly sharing experience in a nice restaurant.
I enjoyed not only nice view but also met many people exploring Cappadocia one by another that day.
